Every year on October 1st Alfred and Amelia decorate their house with a shitton of halloween decorations. They even get one of those fake rock cd players and play a track full of screams and creepy noises every night. Of course, every year somebody has to call the cops at midnight because they can’t sleep and ruin all the fun.

Each year for each other’s birthdays Romania and Hungary bake a cake and bring it to band just to smash it in the other’s face.
洪牙利！August 20th - Hungary’s BirthdayMost of the Hetalia fandom thinks Hungary’s birthday is June 8th 1867, which is actually the day the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy was founded (aka her “wedding day” with Austria). Actually, it was never celebrated, not even during the Monarchy, so lets just forget about it.
Sometimes I see people use October 23rd as her birthday, which is one of our national holidays. It was the date in 1989 when the Third Hungarian Republic was declared but that is NOT what we celebrate on that day. It’s a memorial day for the Revolution of 1956, which began on the same day. So I personally wouldn’t call that her birthday either.
August 20th 1000 was the date when the first Hungarian king, Saint Stephen founded the state of Hungary. This is the day when we celebrate our history and our existence as a nation. We actually call this day The Birthday of Hungary. It shows how long we have been around and it’s definitely our biggest holiday. So it would be awesome if the fandom would celebrate this day too, instead of a date that means nothing to Hungarians.

dog doesn’t get kicked
she does get yelled at, but as i said on a reblog every one likes to ignore, it’s a reaction very similar to hearing nails on a chalkboard. you want to make it stop whenever possible. and she’s not the only one who produces the reaction.
and it’s shit. and i know it’s not normal. and i thought admitting that is a step in the right direction. clearly, i’m incorrect. w/e. make death threats about little old ladies getting bludgeoned to death with a steel pipe all i want, but threaten a dog, o no, it’s not even on the same level, clearly animal abusers get put in the 9th level of hell; mass murderers can get away with going to purgatory.
we’re working on it. i’m seeing someone about it.
I noticed that too, it’s pretty shameful how people turn on their own kind so quickly, but if you day anything about an animal you’re pretty much satan. It’s so stupid honestly. I don’t blame ya and I agree with you.
So I think this is pretty old but I only just saw it. The only post I ever saw was about someone wanting to physically abuse their dog for drinking water and it really scared me. If I saw anything about a death threat I’d try to talk to you about it but I didn’t so don’t crucify me for caring about a dog more than something I hadn’t even heard about. I don’t think I was being unreasonable for being concerned for the dog and approaching you nicely. I’m glad you’re getting help, that’s great but maybe you should think about rehoming the dog.

the “death threat” comment was not necessarily directed at you, it was more directed at my followers, specifically whoever let that post get loose

what i want to know is why the dog post got further than any post of grammy and the pipe ever did
the snappish reaction is because i’d woken up to 54 notes on that post and three messages concerning it. you didn’t do a damn thing, and i’m sorry if it came across as such
i don’t regret liveblogging my reaction. and if anyone’s going to give me shit for it, i’m going to give shit right back (just ask the guy who got threatened with oatmeal)

anyway, if anyone still wants to be around me, i’m starting the new place over here.
same rules as before, check your politics at the entrance and i don’t do anons. nothing’s changed except the address and there won’t be sims spam.
this blog won’t update anymore. unless i don’t shut down completely, since there’s like 60 things left to post over the course of the next year, there won’t be another update. everything will now be at the address linked above.
